Love – A Triolet

Nothing is greater in this world than love
God’s heart the fountain from which it flows
Rising upward on the wings of a dove
Nothing is greater in this world than love

Raining upon us from Heaven above
Gently nurturing as our heart’s love grows
Nothing is greater in this world than love
God’s heart the fountain from which it flows

Love Knows – A Poem

This is a poem my son gave me today for Valentine’s Day, along with a beautiful sketch of a heart. He said he didn’t write it, but it was an anonymous poem that he liked, and he wanted me to share it on my blog.

Love Knows

Love knows no reasons
Love knows no lies
Love defies all reason
Love has no eyes

But love is not blind
Love sees but doesn’t mind
It simply enables one to see
The things others fail to see
